Srinagar, Nov 12: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has proposed the creation of a feed-back portal for tourists, directly linked to his office, to gather insights and suggestions aimed at improving tourism services in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sources close to the development informed Rising Kashmir that the CM emphasized the need for such a platform during a meeting with tourism officials at the Civil Secre-tariat in Jammu.
The proposed portal will allow tourists to share their experiences, providing valuable input to enhance tourism offerings in the region. The Chief Minister also stressed the importance of developing a more sustainable and visitor-friendly approach, with an eye on the potential of tourism to generate substantial employment opportunities for local youth.
In addition, the CM directed officials to prioritize the improvement of the overall tourist experience, ensuring that visitors not only enjoy their stay but also recommend Jammu and Kashmir as a must-visit destination. He further instructed routine inspections of homestay facilities to maintain cleanliness and infrastructure standards, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.
