CM Omar Abdullah expresses grief over Kangan road accident

Says Authorities are providing all possible assistance

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday expressed deep sorrow over a tragic road accident in the Kangan area of Ganderbal district, which claimed multiple lives and left several others injured.

Taking to social media platform X, CM Abdullah wrote, “Deeply saddened by the tragic road accident on the highway near Gund, Kangan, which has claimed several lives and left many others injured. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. Praying for the swift recovery of the injured. Authorities are providing all possible assistance.”

At least four tourists were killed and 18 others were injured when a cab collided with passenger bus in Gund Kangan area of Ganderbal.
