Jammu, Dec 19 : A day long awareness-cum-demonstration programme was held at NCC Camping Ground Nagrota Jammu on Thursday.
The camp was organized by Civil Defence Jammu under the supervision of Dy. SP Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. In the awareness Camp NCC cadets were make aware about the basic knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Fire fighting and other Emergency rescue methods by the Civil Defence Instructors.
The programme was organized in the premises of NCC Camp, Nagrota 200 male and female NCC cadets have attended the said programme. During the programme demonstration on first aid, fire fighting was presented by the Civil Defence team. The Camp Commandant Col. Surabh Sexena appreciated the role of Civil Defence organization and thanked the Civil Defence team for organizing such important awareness–cum-demonstration programme. R. Vijay Magotra, Dy. Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu, ASI Vijay Kumar in charge team of Civil Defence Instructors and staff of NCC Nagrota also present on the occasion.
