Civic Action Prog by SAMDC Budgam, 35 BN CRPF concludes

Srinagar, Dec 14: The civic action program by the Government Sheikh-ul-Alam Memorial Degree College (SAMDC) Budgam and 35 battalion CRPF Humhama Saturday concluded Saturday.
A statement issued here said that the civic action program was held under Ministry of Home affairs which was inaugurated on October 10 this year. “The valedictory function started with the welcome address by Prof. Arshad Irshad and he welcomed the honourable principal, guests, participants, Managing Director (Moomin Technologies) and Faculty members,” the statement said, adding that the “Welcome address was followed by the felicitation ceremony. Afterwards, Principal of the college, Prof. (Dr.) Amin Malik delivered presidential address in which he congratulated the organisers and participants.”
In his speech, the principal highlighted the importance of skill-based training programs. Presidential address was followed by the special address presented by Vishnu Dwivedi, Commandant CRPF 35 BN Humhama in which he thanked the organizers and other staff for the successful conclusion of the Program. Afterwards, Riyaz Ahmad, MD Moomin Technologies highlighted special remarks of the event. Finally, Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Dar (Course Coordinator) proposed formal vote of thanks. He expressed his gratitude to the principal of the College, 35 BN CRPF, Skill Development Committee of the college, participants, resource persons, trainers and to all who were directly or indirectly involved to make this event a success.
