New Delhi, Jan 19: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Friday asked Congress not to do politics on “Pran Pratishtha” of Ram Temple.
In a statement, he alleged that Congress always created hurdles in the construction of Lord Ram temple at Ayodhya. “ Since 1947 generations after generations of the Nehru and Gandhi families ruled India but they never wished for the construction of the Lord Ram temple. They never wanted resolution of the Ram Janam Bhoomi issues and kept on creating hurdles,” he said
Now the party and its leaders should not do politics, Chugh said, adding. “After 500 years, Lord Ram is returning to his birthplace. It is an occasion of Diwali as the wait of crores of Indians is finally over. It is a day of joy, happiness and celebration. They (Congress) should not do politics on this (Pran Pratishtha).”
