Srinagar, Nov 02: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary, Tarun Chugh on Saturday accused the National Conference (NC) president Dr Farooq Abdullah of trying to absolve Pakistan’s spy agency ISI for executing terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
Reacting strongly to Abdullah’s statement questioning the rise of terror attacks in J&K, Chugh said, “Abdullah should ask his mentors across the border about spilling blood in J&K. Everyone knows that Pakistan is a factory of terrorism and has been disrupting peace in J&K for so long. People also know that Abdullah has been siding with Pakistan openly asking the Indian government to hold talks.”
The BJP leader accused Dr Farooq of having double standards, saying the NC chief “must be exposed to make sure that J&K does not stop growing on its path of peace and development”.
“Abdullah’s remarks that terrorists should not be killed clearly exposed that he is protecting Pakistan-sponsored terrorists in view of the strong action by the security forces,” he said.
“The Abdullah family along with the Congress has been always trying to protect anti-national forces which have not allowed J&K to grow and progress.”
