Chargesheet filed against 2 LeT terror associates in Rajouri: Police

Srinagar, Jan 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Police filed a chargesheet against two LeT terror associates in Rajouri in a case related to grenade throwing. 
A police spokesman said that district Police Rajouri filed a charge sheet in case FIR No. 542/2021 U/S 307/120-B/121/122 IPC, 3/4 Explosive Act, 13-ULA (P) of P/S Rajouri before the court of 3rd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu against 02 accused.
They were identified as Altaf Hussain Shah S/O Qadir Shah, Caste Sayeed, R/o Draj, Tehsil-Koteranka District Rajouri and the absconding accused namely Mohd Qasim @ Suleiman S/o Mohd Shafi caste Gujjar R/O Angrala Tehsil Mahore District Reasi A/P PAK/Pok. 
“The accused person threw a grenade in the house of one Romesh Singh S/o Lal Chand R/o Khandli Chowk and due to the explosion one child aged 03 years namely Veer Singh S/o Jasbir Singh R/o Khandli Chowk was killed and several others sustained serious injuries,” he said.
 
The spokesman said the accused were associated with terrorist outfit LeT. The investigation exposed the terror network in J&K and PoK”, he said.
 “The charge sheet was filed by DySP Headquarters. Rajouri Sh. Chanchal Singh under the supervision of SSP Rajouri  Mohd Aslam, JKPS,” the spokesman said.
