Chairman DDC Budgam discusses Muharram arrangements, follow-up of constituency visits

Budgam, July 20: In an effort to ensure the smooth conduct of Muharram and to review the progress of his recent visits to Chadoora and Charar i Sharief constituencies, the Chairman, District Development Council (DDC) Budgam, Nazir Ahmad Khan on Thursday chaired a crucial meeting which witnessed participation from all key line departments.
The primary agenda of the meeting was to discuss the preparations for the upcoming Muharram observances and to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents during this occasion.
Chairman DDC emphasised the significance of maintaining peace and harmony while facilitating the religious processions and gatherings throughout the district. He urged all the officials to work in close coordination with religious leaders and community representatives to ensure a peaceful and respectful observance of Muharram.
During the meeting, Nazir Ahmad Khan also took the opportunity to review the outcomes of his recent visits to Chadoora and Charar i Sharief constituencies. He highlighted the issues raised by the locals of Loolipora, Darwan, Kanidajan and Chararipora. He stressed on the importance of timely execution of developmental projects and assured continued support from the DDC Council in enhancing the overall infrastructure and services in district Budgam. 
Chairman DDC expressed his satisfaction with the discussions and thanked all officials for their active participation and valuable inputs. He urged everyone to work with renewed dedication and zeal to make Muharram arrangements successful and to implement development projects promptly.
