Ganderbal, Feb 20: The Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Ganderbal, Muzamil Akhtar, has initiated an inquiry into allegations levelled against two prominent schools in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
The complaint, jointly filed by residents of neighboring areas, accuses Hilltop Educational Institute Darend and R.P. School Nagbal of denying admission and unlawfully charging prohibited admission fees.
Under the directive, the Deputy CEO Ganderbal and the principal of GHSS Tullamullah have been tasked with conducting a thorough investigation and submitting their findings within two days.
The complaint, concerning the refusal of admission and unlawful admission fee charges, prompted the CEO to intervene, emphasizing the need for adherence to authorities’ directives.
In response, officials are mandated to inspect both private schools and conduct a detailed inquiry, providing comprehensive recommendations to address the matter effectively within the stipulated timeframe.
