Centre assigns Shah Faesal, 9 other officers as Prabhari for Aspirational Blocks in J&K, Ladakh

Srinagar, Oct 03: The central government has appointed ten senior officers as Central Prabhari Officers for Aspirational Blocks in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Among them is IAS officer Shah Faesal, who has been given the responsibility of the Tulail block in Bandipora district.
According to the order, eight officers have been assigned to different blocks in Jammu and Kashmir, while two officers will work in Ladakh. These officers will support the implementation of development plans under the Aspirational Blocks Programme and coordinate with local administrations.
Shah Faesal, who is currently posted as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, has been designated as the Prabhari Officer for Tulail block in Bandipora.
Ankita Anand (IAS), serving as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Jal Shakti (Drinking Water & Sanitation), has been assigned the Marwah block of Kishtwar district.
Mujtaba Ahmad (IDAS), Director in the Ministry of Mines, has been given charge of the Manzgam block in Kulgam. Vivek Gupta (IRS C&IT), Director in the Department of Financial Services, will oversee the Mankote block in Poonch.
For Ganderbal district’s Wakoora block, the Prabhari Officer will be Sushant Sudan (IES), Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
Harleen Kaur (IAS), Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, has been given responsibility for the Khwas block in Rajouri.
Gurmeet Singh (IRTS), Director in the Department of Personnel & Training, has been appointed for the Khari block in Ramban.
Nitish Suri (ITradeS), Director in the Ministry of Education (Higher Education), will work as the Prabhari for the Thakrakote block in Reasi.
For Ladakh, Ravi Dhawan (IAS), Director in the Ministry of Power, has been assigned the Karsha block in Kargil.
Himanshu Gupta (IAS), Secretary in the Department of School Education & Literacy, has been named Prabhari Officer for the Rupsho block in Leh.
