Akhnoor, Nov 10: A gathering was held on Sunday at Roshni Palace, Kelewali, Sohal, to honor Praveen Sharma a resident of Kangral Sangral village in Sohal, for his remarkable achievement in securing the 18th rank in the recently declared Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) results.
This prestigious accomplishment, achieved on his fourth attempt, has brought pride and admiration from across the community.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of MLA Akhnoor, Mohan Lal Bhagat, who congratulated Praveen and his family with a garland and extended heartfelt wishes for his continued success. In his address, Bhagat emphasized that Praveen’s journey is an inspiration to the youth of Akhnoor, highlighting his unwavering focus, dedication, and resilience. “Praveen’s hard work and determination remind us that dreams are achievable through perseverance. There are no shortcuts to success,” Bhagat remarked. He encouraged other young aspirants to remain steadfast in their goals, affirming that “today, the entire Akhnoor is proud of Praveen Sharma.”
Expressing his gratitude, Praveen Sharma shared his experience, acknowledging the challenges he faced in his journey. “This was my fourth attempt. If I had not succeeded this time, I might have considered a different path. Securing the 18th rank feels surreal,” he admitted. Praveen reflected on moments of doubt but explained how his determination kept him focused. He also credited the support of his family, friends, and mentors, adding, “They always encouraged me, and their belief in me kept my spirits high.”
Praveen articulated his commitment to bringing positive change to the education and health sectors in Jammu and Kashmir. “There’s so much potential here, and with the right direction, our state’s youth can contribute significantly to our GDP. As an administrator, I will work towards bridging the gap between the public and administration,” he said.
