Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday said that it has solved burglary case by arresting two persons and recovered stolen property in Palhallan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A Spokesperson said, On 25th March, 2023 Police Post Palhallan received a complaint from one Ishfaq Ahmad Sheikh S/O Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh resident of Tantraypora Palhallan Pattan stating therein that during intervening nights of 24th & 25th March-2023, some unknown burglars entered into his residential house and stole copper utensils.
“To this effect Police Station Pattan registered Case FIR under relevant sections of law and investigation was started”, he said.
“During the course of investigation of the case with the help of technical and human resources names of some suspects came to surface, one of them namely Khursheed Ahmad Waza S/O Ghulam Mohd Waza R/O Tantraypora Palhallan was identified and was called for questioning.”
After thorough interrogation he confessed that he alongwith other accomplice namely Tanveer Ahmad Reshi S/O Ghulam Mohd Reshi R/O New Colony Palpora Pattan has committed theft and upon their disclosure, all stolen property was recovered from their possession and they were taken into custody immediately.
