Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday said that they have solved a Burglary case by arresting three burglars at Boniyar area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A Police spokesperson said, “On 27th May, 2023 Police Station Boniyar* received a complaint from one *Mushtaq Ahmad Ahanger AO Small Hydro Electric Project Boniyar stating therein that some unknown burglars have stolen steel shuttering plates from construction site Maidanan Boniyar.”
“To this effect Police Station Boniyar registered Case FIR* under relevant sections of law and investigation was started.”
“During the course of investigation of the case with the help of technical and human resources names of some suspects came to surface, namely Aqib Ahmad Shah S/O Mohammad Hafeez Shah R/O Nangli Pora Sopore, Bashir Ahmad Jainder S/O Sayia Jinder R/O Madian Boniyar & Sajad Ahmad Thakar S/O Gulam Qadir Thakar R/O Uranbowa was identified and was called for questioning”, he said.
After thorough interrogation they confessed that they have committed theft and upon their disclosure, all stolen steel shuttering plates was recovered* from their possession and were taken into custody immediately.
