Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday solved burglary case by arresting an accused and recovered stolen jewellery worth thousands & Cash in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
A spokesman said, “Police Station Bandipora received a complaint from one person namely Gh Qadir Dar S/o Late Mohmad Subhan Dar R/o Lankreshipora Bandipora that some thieves had barged inside his residential house at Lankreshipora Bandipora and have stolen some golden ornaments worth thousands of rupees and some Cash.
In this connection Case FIR No.169/2022 under relevant sections was registered in PS Bandipora and investigation started.”
“Acting on this complaint police team of police station Bandipora under the supervision of DYSP HQRS Bandipora Shri Mohammad Shafat-JKPS comprising of SHO PS Bandipora INSP. Ashiq Hussain, PSI Saqib Ahmad & PSI Rakesh Kumar was constituted.During the course of Investigation many suspects were called for questioning and after utilising all available technical /human resources the team arrested one accused person.He has been identified as Amir Ahmad Rather S/o Gh Nabi Rather R/o Anchar Soura Srinagar”, he said.
The spokesman said that during questioning the accused confessed the commission of crime and upon his disclosure stolen goods which included Golden Jewellery and Cash Rs 21350 were recovered from his residential house in Anchar Soura Srinagar.Further investigation has been takenup.
