Budgam, Nov 11: In order to create employment opportunities and improve livelihoods across the Budgam district, the sheep husbandry department has been providing sheep units to the local resident, these units have become a reliable source of income for the people.
An official from the District Sheep Husbandry department in Budgam told Rising Kashmir that a total of 168 sheep units will be provided to the people throughout the current financial year. As of now, 70 percent of these units have already been distributed.
The official stated that the sheep husbandry department has been consistently providing sheep units to the people across the district, enabling them to earn a good income.
“Additionally, the department ensures that the sheep are delivered directly to the doorsteps of the people, along with necessary dosing and vaccination services,” he said.
