Budgam Police issues traffic advisory in view of Muharram processions

Jammu and Kashmir Police On Monday issued a traffic advisory in view of 6th Muharram corresponding to 25th july 2023, scheduled to be carried out in the central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

According to a statement issued here, In view of Muharam-ul-Haram procession scheduled to be carried out from Zoorigund to Imam Bargah Budgam on 6th Muharam 2023 corresponding to July 25th 2023 (Tuesday) following traffic diversions will be made for convenience of general public and Mourners:-

 Up Traffic from Budgam towards Ichgam

1.Diversion at Choon crossing via Razwen Choon.

2.Traffic can also be diverted via Wadipora-Zoorigund.

 Down Traffic from Ichgam towards Budgam

1. Diversion at Thokerpora crossing via Choon Razwen.

2. Once procession reaches Zoorigund, traffic can be diverted via Zoorigund – Wadipora Road.

3. Srinagar bound vehicles of Ichgam-Raithan can adopt Ichgam-Panzan -Chadoora -Wathora-Kralpora-Chanapora route and Vice Versa.
