Budgam, Oct 16: The Budgam Police on Thursday attached property measuring 10 marlas of land along with a two-storeyed residential house located at Sandipora, Budgam, after obtaining necessary approval from the competent authority.
According to a senior police official, the property belonged to Muzaffar Hussain Allie, son of late Ghulam Mohammad Allie, a resident of Sandipora, Budgam. The official said that Allie had exfiltrated to Pakistan and was using the property to promote terrorist activities.
"During the investigation, it was revealed that the individual was attempting to transfer the property with the intention of selling it and using the proceeds to finance terrorist activities. Accordingly, sanction under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, was obtained in case FIR No. 38/2024 of Police Station Chadoora," the official added.
It is important to note that Muzaffar Hussain Allie is currently operating from Pakistan and continues to be actively involved in anti-national activities from across the border.
Budgam Police reiterated their commitment to taking strict action against individuals involved in terror activities and those aiding or abetting terrorism in any form.
