Budgam, Jan 11: The district administration Budgam on Wednesday said the work on three health centres has been completed and would be handed over to the health department.
An official told Rising Kashmir that two out of these three health centres were coming under the “Languishing Projects”.
“The New Type Primary Health Centre (NTPHC) in Shogpora village and the New Type Primary Health Centre (NTPHC) in Rathsun village were coming under the languishing projects,” the official said, adding that the work on the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Tilsara village has also been completed.
These health centres will now be made operational for the general public, bringing relief to the people of various villages in this central Kashmir district.
The primary health centre in the Aripathan village, which was earlier functioning in the Panchayat Ghar in the village, has also been shifted to a new building, which was made operational for the general public 10 days ago, the official informed.
