Srinagar, Mar 19: Special Director General (SDG) of the Border Security Force (BSF) Western Command, Y B Khurania, conducted a thorough review of operational readiness along the Line of Control (LoC) deployed units in north Kupwara district on Tuesday.
Speaking to Rising Kashmir, BSF Spokesman SDG Khurania visited forward areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in the frontier Kupwara district. During the visit, he received briefings from commanders on the ground regarding the prevailing security scenario along the LoC.
Interacting with all ranks, the senior BSF officer in Kashmir commended the troops for their professionalism and dedication. He specifically visited forward areas of Kupwara to assess the operational preparedness of LoC deployed units.
“SDG Khurania personally interacted with the troops stationed in the area, applauding their unwavering performance in challenging situations,” stated the spokesman. He further added, “The troops’ dedication and commitment to their duty were acknowledged and appreciated by the SDG.”
This visit highlights the BSF’s ongoing efforts to ensure the highest level of operational readiness along the LoC, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region.
“The BSF continues to prioritize regular assessments and interactions to ensure that its forces remain prepared to tackle any contingencies that may arise along the LoC,” the spokesman said.
