BRO rescues 4 persons trapped in snow at Singay-la pass

Leh, Feb 10: The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) on Friday rescued four persons, including an infant, who were trapped in heavy snowfall at Singay-La pass in Leh district of Ladakh.
According to the officials, a vehicle moving from Khaltse towards Neraks got stuck at Singay-La Pass due to heavy snowfall.
Soon after receiving the information a rescue operation was launched under the supervision of OC 114 RCC, Major Pranav Nauni, a team led by JE Pradeep Rathore reached the spot and rescued them at around 4:30 am. The locals were evacuated to Fotoksar village, the officials said.
