Budgam, Feb 02: Police on Thursday registered a case after an abandoned newborn baby was found dead in habbar village of Khag tehsil in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
An official from the Police Sation Khag, told the Rising Kashmir that after the police received the information regarding the abandoned body, they reached the spot and found the body of newborn baby girl.
“The samples of a baby were collected for the DNA test. After that, the body has also been buried,” an official said.
He said that the investigation into this incident was going on.
