Srinagar, Jan 27: In view of the Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi, Ex. President Indian National Congress and Member of Parliament Lok Sabha entering Srinagar City on 28th January 2023, the following diversions shall be enforced on 28 January 2023 for smooth flow of traffic
“No vehicle shall be allowed to move on NH-44 from Peaks towards Galandar. Vehicles shall use the old road from Panthachowk-Sempora-Pampore for the further journey towards Anantnag,” reads the advisory.
It further says that Motorists intending to travel to Pulwama should use the Pohru-BKPora road. The vehicular traffic will be allowed to move on NH-44 only after the Yatra reaches Truck Terminal Panthachowk.
“General Public/Tourists are requested to adopt alternative routes to avoid any inconvenience. Medical emergencies will be facilitated,” it reads.
