Srinagar, Nov 08: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir has launched a series of workshops on media, social media, and Information Technology (IT) across Kashmir.
The workshops, which were kick-started on Wednesday in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, were held under the leadership of Secretary Organisation, Mudasir Wani; BJP Media Incharge Kashmir, Adv Sajid Yousuf Shah; BJP Social Media Incharge Kashmir, Er Sahil Bashir Bhat; IT Incharge, Adv Sheikh Salman and District President Bandipora Naseer Lone, the party said in a statement issued here.
Speaking about the workshops, BJP Media Incharge Sajid Yousuf said the primary goal of the initiative is to streamline the party’s online promotional and campaign activities for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Participants at the meeting highlighted the crucial role played by media, social media, and IT platforms in disseminating the party’s narrative and manifesto. The workshops aim to strengthen the party’s public outreach through these digital channels, the statement said.
The workshop was attended by district office bearers, Morcha Presidents, constituency teams, and their respective media, social media, and IT teams.
“The launch of these workshops underscores BJP’s commitment to strengthening its presence and influence in the Kashmir Valley. The party recognises the importance of digital platforms in reaching out to voters and effectively communicating its message,” Sajid Yousuf said, adding, “By empowering its members with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate these platforms effectively, the BJP is well-positioned to achieve its goals in the upcoming parliamentary elections.”
