PM Modi to address mega rally at MA Stadium on Sept 28
Amit Shah to address 4 rallies on Sept 26 ahead of PM’s rally in Jammu
JAMMU, Sept 23: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to deploy its top leadership as the third phase of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections approaches, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah spearheading the party’s campaign starting from September 26.
PM Modi will headline a massive rally at Jammu’s MA Stadium on September 28, while Amit Shah will address four rallies in various constituencies of the Jammu region on September 26. The BJP has strategically planned these rallies, focusing on constituencies considered its strongholds.
As part of a packed schedule, Home Minister Amit Shah will cover four key locations—Barwal Morh and Jasrota in Kathua district, as well as Chenani, Bani, and Udhampur. The Udhampur rally will encompass both assembly seats of the district, further consolidating BJP’s influence.
PM Modi’s rally at MA Stadium marks his second appearance at the venue. Before becoming Prime Minister, he had addressed the ‘Lalkar Rally’ here. So far, Modi has addressed three rallies in Jammu and Kashmir—one each in Doda, Katra, and Srinagar. The upcoming rally holds strategic importance, as 40 seats are up for grabs in the third phase, many of which are considered BJP strongholds. These constituencies are seen as crucial to the party’s ambitions of forming a government in Jammu and Kashmir.
The third phase covers assembly seats in Jammu, Samba, Kathua, and Udhampur districts—regions where BJP secured a majority in the last elections. The party’s Election Campaign Committee is working tirelessly to ensure the success of these rallies and rally public support in BJP’s favor.
The BJP leadership is leaving no stone unturned as the crucial third phase of elections approaches, aiming to consolidate its position in its strongholds and lay the groundwork for a potential victory in the region.
