National Conference Additional General Secretary and Former Minister Mr Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today said the BJP has acknowledged its rejection and defeat in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections across Jammu and Kashmir by not announcing candidates for Poonch-Rajouri-Annantnag, Srinagar and Baramulla Parliamentary Constituencies.

Addressing prominent workers of National Conference at Banai (Bantalab) in Jammu Jammu North Assembly Constituency, Mr Sadhotra said the position of the BJP in the remaining two Parliamentary Constituencies of Jammu and Udhampur too is critical due to widespread resentment and disillusionment among the people due to misgovernance and total disconnect of the candidates with their voters.
Sadhotra exuded confidence about INDIA bloc sweeping the polls in all the five parliamentary constituencies of Jammu and Kashmir at the strength of its goodwill and track record of public service before the nightmarish rule of the so-called double engine government. He said the BJP will face its Waterloo here like rest of the country.

Sadhotra slammed the BJP for twisting the statistics and indulging in the high voltage propaganda in its daily rants in the media, saying this speaks of it fear and frustration in the wake of imminent rejection by the people.

He said Jammu and Kashmir has suffered the most during the BJPs misrule and the sagacious electorate has firmed up resolve to teach the party a lesson by power of their votes for their betrayal. The fear of defeat has unnerved the BJP leadership, which is why they are indulging in name calling and mudslinging. Political naivety and immaturity is hugely discernible in the BJP’s discourse, he said, adding that this does not augur well for the democratic polity.

Mr Sadhotra advised the BJP leadership to come to age and go for extensive introspection over the failures in a sensitive state like Jammu and Kashmir, where it failed miserably in feeling the pulse of the people and assuaging their economic, developmental and political aspirations. He said the BJP has pushed the people, especially educated unemployed youth to wall and generating apprehensions
among the state subjects about their lands. 1/2 Castigating the BJP for its failures on all fronts, Mr Sadhotra said the party cannot even spell out 10 achievements or accomplishments in Jammu and Kashmir.

The people are suffering on account of power, drinking water and delivery of utility services. Inflation has hit the backbone of poor and middle classes while farmers, daily rated workers besides skilled and unskilled workforce are feeling totally
letdown, he added.

The National Conference Additional General Secretary called upon the sagacious voters to support the INDIA block candidates, Raman Bhalla .Jammu-Reasi and Ch Lal Singh Kathua-Doda Parliamentary Constituencies in the ensuing elections and register their rejection to misrule of the BJP. INDIA will win, Sadhotra asserted.

Prominent among those present on the occasion included Raghubir Singh District President, Ghar Singh Ex-Corporator Joint Secretary Jammu Province, Ankush Abrol Joint Secretary Jammu Province, Rakesh Kumar Sharma District President YNC, Ch Bagh Ali Zonal Secretary, Dr Vikas Sharma, Zonal Secretary, Randhir Singh Jamwal and Tilak Raj Bhagat District Secretaries, Gourav Jamwal Block President
YNC, Sahil Chib District Secretary YNC, Gurnam Singh Block President, Ranjeet Singh Manhas, Capt Purshotam Shama, Natha Ram Bhagat, Sat Pal Karloopia Ex-Corporator, Dr Rajinder Sharma, Pandit Thoru Ram, Randhir Singh Manhas, Satya Jamwal, Sushma Manhas, Ch Subash Chander, Kuldeep Raj Sharnma (Nagrota),(KNS)
