Jammu, June 18: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), J&K, on Sunday accused the ruling party of working in an autocratic manner, saying the BJP is “misusing” the central agencies like CBI, ED and “influencing the courts” also.
“The leaders of opposition parties have been arrested or jailed. The corrupt politicians who have joined the BJP have been exonerated only the opposition and the downtrodden is crushed and defamed,” the party said in a statement issued here.
It added, “The majority of the Centrally-sponsored schemes are not practically applied on the ground. The youth are jobless and 50 percent of them have become drug addicts. A huge amount has been utilized for propaganda. Rs 23,000 crore has been utilized for advertisements, radio, TV, media and hoardings by the BJP Central government.”
“Since 2014, the BJP has failed to fulfill even a single promise. In spite of its tall claims at the Centre, the ground situation is entirely different. The public at large is fed up with the monotonous, dull and boring ‘MANN KI BAAT’ of Modiji,” the statement said, adding, “PM is silent on his promises on corruption-free government, fuel prices, inflation, unemployment and a number of the problems. He has remained silent on the problems of wrestlers and the allegations of the former Governor of J&K, Mr Satya Pal Malik.”
