Continuing with its different programmes of “Vidhan Sabha Pravas” by senior leaders, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu Kashmir held various Shakti Kendra and Booth Sammelans in various Assembly Constituencies.
In this series, these programmes were held in 11 different Assembly segments at 8 places, where the senior leaders of the party had reached their assigned destinations. They held threadbare discussions with the local leadership as well as the party activists holding the important responsibilities as Shakti Kendra Pramukh and organizers of Booth Sammelans, reviewed the progress of such programmes and suggested more measures to further polish the grass root level activists to reach the people and mobilize their support for the BJP by educating them about numerous mega projects of development and welfare schemes of Modi government.
Ashok Koul, General Secretary (organization), BJP chaired 2 Shakti Kendra and Booth Sammelans at Jammu North, Marh, Nagrota and Jammu West Assembly Constituencies.
Ashok Koul, while addressing the party leaders, said that as the schedule of the Lok Sabha polls is expected to be announced soon, the J&K BJP has intensified its activities in the entire length and breadth of the UT. The party has already taken the lead in opening of election offices at assembly constituency levels and announced its candidates, the morale of the party activists is high and each one is devoting more time to ensure the successful conduct of various programmes being undertaken as per the directions of the party high command.
Similarly, Sham Lal Sharma, BJP Vice-President accompanied by Swarn Lata chaired Shakti Kendra/Booth Sammelan of Jammu South-RS Pura Assembly Constituency.
Yudhvir Sethi, BJP Vice-President chaired Shakti Kendra/Booth Sammelan of Bahu Constituency.
Chander Prakash Ganga, Former Minister senior leader chaired Shakti Kendra/Booth Sammelan of Samba Constituency.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP (Lok Sabha) and Munish Sharma, senior leader chaired Shakti Kendra/Booth Sammelan of Jammu East Constituency.
Sham Chowdhary, BJP Vice-President chaired Shakti Kendra/Booth Sammelan of Bishnah Constituency.
Ashwani Sharma, former MLA chaired Shakti Kendra/Booth Sammelan of Vijaypur Constituency.
Shamsher Singh Manhas, Former MP, Sh. Devinder Singh Rana, senior leader, Sh. Bharat Bhushan Bodhi, Chairperson DDC, former Minister Smt. Priya Sethi, Inderjit Sharma, Sh. Shiv Dev Singh Manhas all District Presidents, senior leader and other senior leaders also participated in these programmes.
