Bandipora, Nov 12: The Bureau of Indian Standards, Jammu & Kashmir Branch Office (BIS JKBO), recently organized an educational exposure visit for students from Government Higher Secondary School Nowgam and Government Higher Secondary School Gadkhud, Bandipora, to the ZL Foods and Beverages Water Plant.
During the visit, BIS JKBO Standard Promotions Consultant Umar Mukhtar, accompanied by Resource Person Muzamil Ahmad Parray, provided students with a comprehensive briefing on quality standards. They also offered a hands-on experience of industry operations, allowing the students to gain valuable insights into the practical functioning of the food and beverage sector.
This visit aimed to enhance students’ understanding of industrial standards and encourage a practical approach to learning.
