Jammu, Dec 21: The KC Sports Complex in Jammu witnessed a spectacular display of women’s cricket brilliance on the second day of the Bharat Premier League. The event was graced by the distinguished presence of Abhijeet Jasrota, spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who held the role of chief guest.
In his eloquent address, Jasrota delivered a powerful message, urging the participating female athletes to embrace the competitive spirit and seize the opportunity to showcase their extraordinary talents. His words resonated across the stadium, emphasizing the significance of platforms like the Bharat Premier League in fostering women’s active participation in cricket.
Commending the meticulous efforts of the organizers, the BJP spokesperson praised the league as a spectacular event that provides a crucial platform for nurturing and showcasing the talents of female athletes. His notable presence underscored the broader societal impact of promoting and encouraging women in sports.
Accompanying Jasrota were other distinguished figures, including Avatar Bhat, Editor of Daily Excelsior, Shivani Koul Bhat, Rockey Pandita, and Sanjay Koul (President, AMEAK).
In his role as a prominent political figure, Jasrota’s participation served to underscore bipartisan support for initiatives promoting gender inclusivity in sports.
