Srinagar, Dec 27: General Secretary, All India Congress Committee (AICC) KC Venugopal and J&K In-charge Rajani Patil held detailed discussions on the upcoming Bharat Jodo Yatra (BJY) with Party leaders here in Srinagar.
According to the party statement, the leaders received feedback with regard to ongoing preparations and arrangements being made for the successful conduct of Yatra. The leaders also reviewed the preparedness and other arrangements with regard to the upcoming Bharat Jodo Yatra in J&K.
KC Venugopal had a brief discussion about the mobilization while terming the Yatra a socio-political initiative to protect the idea of India. He declared that people from different political parties believing in the core ideology of INC will join this Yatra, as that, the Yatra was hope for all Indians.
JKPCC President Vikar Rasool Wani briefed the leadership about the BJY preparations, assuring that no stone would be left unturned to make the Yatra a very successful Yatra by involving all right-thinking people.
Former JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir who is Coordinator BJY apprised AICC Gen Secretary KC Venugopal and Rajani Patil about the initiatives which are being taken with regard to upcoming BJY while assuring huge participation in the Yatra.
CWC Member Tariq Hameed Karra also threw light on the significance of the Yatra urging the party cadres to work vigorously to make it (BJY) historic.
