Jammu, July 01: JKPCC working president Raman Bhalla has expressed shock over the unfortunate road mishap at Gadigarh on Friday wherein a woman lost her life and seven others were critically injured. He visited the GMC Jammu to enquire about the health of the injured.
Bhalla in a statement urged the administration to ensure the best possible treatment for the injured. He expressed solidarity with the bereaved family of the woman who lost her life in the accident and prayed to Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul.
The JKPCC leader emphasized the need for the administration to take effective measures to prevent such fatal road accidents, questioning the lack of checks on operators, drivers, and conductors despite the presence of strict traffic rules. He called for a collective effort from all concerned agencies to devise strategies that would effectively prevent such accidents and protect precious lives.
He called on the administration to provide relief and adequate compensation to the affected families and ensure the injured passengers receive the best possible treatment free of cost. The Congress leader urged the LG administration to take immediate action to prevent such accidents and protect human lives. He criticized the lack of preventive measures and called for a change in approach to focus on accident prevention rather than relying solely on post-accident measures.
