Jammu, Apr 10: JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla on Monday said the  divisive forces are attempting to turn our diversity against us but India will reject hatred and a vicious agenda.
Bhalla said this while leading Jai Bharat Satyagrah March  in Ward -57 Model Town from Marakhri.   He said under BJP rule, there is a palpable economic crisis brewing — joblessness among the youth, unbearable price rise, severe farm distress, and a complete corporate capture of the country’s wealth.
“Today, even our plurality is under threat. Divisive forces are attempting to turn our diversity against us — different religions, communities, regions are being pitted against each other. But after the Jai Bharat Satyagrah Yatra, I am convinced that this vicious agenda has its limits, and it cannot go on any longer,” he said.
Congress during its tenure created economic prosperity for everyone – right price for farmers’ produce, jobs for our youth, fair distribution of the country’s wealth, an enabling environment for MSMEs and entrepreneurs, cheaper diesel, a stronger rupee, and a gas cylinder for Rs. 500, he said.
Bhalla flayed the alleged propaganda launched by BJP leadership on making massive developments in J&K and said that reality is that only public miseries and chaos were created during the last nine years in J&K. He said that the BJP is trying to divert the attention of the public from basic issues.
The former minister further stated that development works sanctioned by the previous Government were put on halt by the BJP led regime with no reasons. “People of J&K will never forgive BJP for killing their aspirations,” the Congress leader maintained, appealing to people to defeat the designs of BJP.
He expressed confidence that people in J&K will ensure the victory of Congress candidates with a thumping majority whenever assembly elections are held. Bhalla said that Congress will not be cowed down by false propaganda unleashed by BJP as so far BJP led Government has only strengthened the corporate houses ignoring the poor and downtrodden sections of the country.
