Bhalla condemns Rajouri terrorist attack

Jammu, May 05: JKPCC working president Raman Bhalla on Friday strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Rajouri.
In a statement, Bhalla said the incident is serious and belies the claims of the government and the security heads regarding the ground situation.
“My deepest condolences to the families and relatives of the martyred, and I wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” he said.
The Congress leader said the incident is highly condemnable and shows that the enemies of peace are desperate to damage communal harmony and stability in the district.
“The recent terror strikes in Rajouri and Poonch and also in Jammu, Udhampur, Reasi, Ramban and Kishtwar districts of the Jammu division indicate that attempts are being made to revive militancy in these areas,” he said, adding, “Terrorism is on the rise in J&K. The government should come up with some tangible plan to safeguard people.”
