Bandipora, Oct 26: Alfalah Educational Institute in Aragam, Bandipora, celebrated a milestone for its Quran Memorization (Hifz-e-Quran) program by awarding an Umrah ticket to one of its students, Raqib ul Hassan, as a reward for his dedication.

Raqib, along with two other students, Ansar Aslam and Salman Khursheed, completed the Hifz-e-Quran course this year. The Umrah ticket winner was chosen through a draw, reflecting the school’s dedication to support both spiritual and academic growth.

Alfalah Educational Institute started the Hifz-e-Quran program two years ago to combine religious education with modern studies. Since then, the program has grown, attracting more students and parents with its goal of balancing faith and academics, promoting both religious devotion and learning discipline.

The award ceremony brought together respected figures from different fields, all highlighting the value of faith and education. Islamic scholars Mufti Muzaffer Hussain Qasmi and Mufti Farhat Ahmad Qasmi praised the students’ accomplishments and the institute’s efforts.

Mufti Muzaffer praised Alfalah’s Chief Patron, Arif Hussain Bhat, for creating a vision that combines religious and modern knowledge, saying, “This institute is shaping young minds while nurturing their souls.”

Bandipora’s well known businessman, Ghulam Nabi Tantray, addressed the students and parents, stating that Alfalah’s initiative serves as an excellent model for other institutions in the region. “It is encouraging to witness a school dedicated to cultivating morally grounded and well-rounded students,” he added.

Professor Ghulam Hassan Bhat and Arsullah Habib, the Chief Education Office representative, praised the students’ achievements. They highlighted how important these successes are for the Bandipora community and promised to continue supporting similar educational programs in the district.

Chief Patron of school Arif Hussain Bhat announced plans to expand the Quran Memorization program and add more resources for students pursuing religious studies. He expressed hope that this initiative would inspire other young minds to pursue knowledge with humility, dedication, and purpose.
