District Bandipora Squash championship which was organized by Bandipora District Squash Rackets Association in collaboration with J&K Squash Rackets Association under My Youth My Pride Initiative by J&K Sports Council concluded on Friday at Squash Complex, J&K Sports Council facility.
In two days event over 85 players from different Schools & Colleges participated in Under 15 Boys & Girls, Under 17 Boys & Girls, Under 19 Boys & Girls & Senior Men categories.
Dr Ghulam Mohammad Dar (Doctorate in Sports & Physical Education) hailing from Bandipora presided concluding function as Chief Guest while Mr.Fayaz Ahmad Wani & Mushraf Ali were present as Guest of Honours.
Chief Guest for District Bandipora Squash championship Dr. Ghulam Mohammad Dar congratulate players from different schools and colleges for their real sportsman sprit which according to him, he feels. He also congratulated District Squash association of Bandipora for taking the step for the promotion of Squash by organizing District Level competitions which will definetly boost morale of the students.He too congratulated the Medal winning participants.
Chief Guest also expressed gratitude to J&K Sports Council for provide modern class infrastructure for organizing of championship.
Mushraf Ali President of District Bandipora Squash Association adivised players to stay continue with this beatiful sport of Squash.
Later, the Chief Guest and Guest of Honours distributed medals, Trophies among the winner and runner-up and Third place participants.
The championship was sponsored by Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council.
