Bandipora police continuing its series of events commemorating Martyrs of J&K police on Thursday organised Police Martyr’s T20 Cricket Tournament at SK Stadium Bandipora.
The tournament will be played on knock out basis in which 18 cricket teams of district Bandipora will participate.The inaugural ceremony was attended Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Owais Ahmad -IAS ,SSP Bandipora Shri Lakshay Sharma-IPS , Senior officers of Army ,CAPF, officers of Bandipora Police, District Administration and other dignitaries.The inaugural match was played between the teams Syed Sultania Bandipora Vs Quil Reds.
Speaking on the occasion SSP Bandipora said it has always been the top priority of J&K police to provide better platform to the youth interested in sports and other activities and police will continue to engage the youth in different sports activities.
The inaugural ceremony was also attended by a large gathering of sports lovers, general public and students of various educational institutions of the district.
