Srinagar, March 15: The district Anantnag, Kulgam, Baramulla and Bandipora Ball Badminton Associations, in collaboration with the J&K Ball Badminton Association, are set to organise the District Level Ball Badminton Championships for Boys and Girls 2024-25 for District Anantnag, District Kulgam, District Baramulla and District Bandipora.
The championships, sponsored by the J&K Sports Council, will be held at the following venues and dates—District Anantnag Ball Badminton Championship 2024-25 at High School Batangoo(Anantnag) from March 18 to March 19. District Kulgam Ball Badminton Championship 2024-25 at Higher Secondary school kailam(Kulgam) from March 20 to March 21.
District Baramulla Ball Badminton Championship 2024-25 at MET Higher Secondary school Sopore (Baramulla) from March 21 to March 22. District Bandipora Ball Badminton Championship 2024-25 at Police Line Indoor Hall (Bandipora). The championship aims to promote Ball Badminton in J&K and provide young athletes with a platform to showcase their skills. The tournament will follow the official rules of the Ball Badminton Federation of India (BBFI) to ensure fair play and high-level competition. All affiliated clubs, schools, colleges, and institutes in the respective districts are invited to participate. Interested players must submit their entries before March 17 via WhatsApp/SMS at the contact numbers of the respective organising secretaries.
A major highlight of the championships is the selection of top-performing players who will represent their district at the upcoming UT-level Ball Badminton Championship. This presents a valuable opportunity for young athletes to compete at higher levels.
