Srinagar, Aug 10: The Deputy Commissioner of Srinagar, Aijaz Asad, announced today that the main Independence Day function will take place at the historic Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar.
The event is set to be graced by the distinguished presence of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who will perform the honour of hoisting the Tricolor, symbolizing the nation’s unity and hard-fought freedom.
“We have diligently arranged all necessary facilities to ensure a smooth and successful execution of the Independence Day function,” Deputy Commissioner Aijaz Asad assured during a press briefing.
