Jammu, July 22: Apni Party General Secretary, Vijay Bakaya on Monday called for strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
As per a press release, a review meeting was chaired by Vijay Bakaya here at the Party Office, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu to discuss the working of the party and chalk out a strategy to strengthen the ground-level workers across the region.
During the meeting, a threadbare discussion was held regarding the working of the party and how it can be improved for the general masses.
In his address, Vijay Bakaya stressed the party leaders to continue public outreach programs in their respective areas and educate people about the developmental policies, and programs of welfare.
‘The people in Jammu and Kashmir should know the welfare policies of the party that would be implemented once the party forms government,” he said. However, he asked the party leaders to gear up their election campaign, and public outreach programs.
Vijay directed the leaders to list the problems of the people and ensure that they could be highlighted at the appropriate platform for early disposal of the grievances. He said the people in Jammu and Kashmir have been waiting for an elected government and restoration of statehood to the erstwhile state for the last several years.
“The people have unshaken faith in the Apni Party and its leadership. Therefore, it becomes important for us to meet the people of different segments and put in all of our efforts to get their work done,” he added.
Meanwhile, other leaders of the party also addressed the meeting and suggested certain measures that should be taken up to improve the working of the party and strengthen it at the ground level.
