Back to Village-5: DC Bandipora tours various panchayats, reviews arrangements

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad Wednesday conducted a comprehensive tour of several panchayats in connection with the commencement of fifth phase of Back to Village programme and took stock of ongoing activities in village panchayats.

The DC was accompanied by ADDC Bandipora Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, besides various officers and officials of the line departments.

Dr. Owais visited several panchayats, including the panchayat halqas of Check Arsla (CA) Khan, Gundpora, and Garoora.

He first visited panchayats of CA Khan, where he reviewed the arrangements for the B2V-5 program. He interacted with the visiting officers and public and visited development work sites along with officers. The DC also interacted with the students here. On the occasion, the DC was accompanied by DDC Arin Ghulam Mohiuddin besides BDC Arin, PRIs, and BDO concerned.
