Srinagar, Oct 04: Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir and Chairman DPAP Ghulam Nabi Azad on Wednesday visited the official residence of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad to offer condolences on the demise of his father-in-law Mohammad Qasim, the Ex Chief Engineer at JKPDD, who passed away a few weeks ago.
During the visit, Azad expressed his deep sadness at the sudden loss of Ch Mohammad Qasim. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the Deputy Commissioner of Srinagar and expressed his sympathy for the bereaved family.
The DPAP chief also prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace and for the grieving family to find the strength to bear the loss.
Azad acknowledged the contributions that the late chief engineer had made during his tenure in the Power Development Department.
