A special camp titled ‘SVANidhi Se Samriddhi’ was organized at the Municipal Council Poonch with the aim of profiling street vendors and their family members and facilitating the sanctioning of government welfare schemes for eligible beneficiaries.
The camp witnessed the presence of Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Yasin M. Choudhary , who engaged with the street vendors, explaining varied schemes available and encouraged their active participation.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the significance of the camp, stating that it was exclusively organized for the street vendors and urged them to take advantage of the government schemes. He advised the officers present to create maximum awareness and ensure on-the-spot benefits of these schemes to the eligible people.
