Jammu, Mar 08: The Apni Party on Friday commemorated its fourth foundation day here across Jammu region including at the Gandhi Nagar office where the leaders hoisted the party’s flag to celebrate the occasion.
As per the press release, the main function was organized at the Gandhi Nagar office in Jammu under the leadership of Provincial President S. Manjit Singh in the presence of large numbers of party leaders, and workers.
In his address, Manjit Singh impressed upon the party leaders to carry forward the mission of the Party President, Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari. “The mission of providing true leadership, and representation to the people who have faced decades of negligence from the traditional political parties in the name of vote bank, and divisive politics,” he said while asking the leaders to work for the people and intensify their public outreach program.
He also commended the leaders for their tireless efforts due to which the Party has gained its support across Jammu plain, and other regions of the division. “The people have associated themselves with the Party while pinning hopes with Altaf Bukhari sahab. The party is committed to providing an impartial government to the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said, expressing commitment that the land and jobs rights of the people will be protected by the Party.
He said the Election Commission of India should hold the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir along with the Parliamentary elections in the wake of a peaceful and conducive atmosphere. “The democratic system should be restored without further delay as it has disassociated the people with the present form of government,” he said.
“The people in both the regions are concerned about the downgrading of the historic Jammu and Kashmir State which has been reduced to a Union Territory with its bifurcation into two Union Territories i.e., J&K and Ladakh,” he said, demanding elections in Jammu and Kashmir to win the confidence of the people.
Meanwhile, a similar function was organized in the morning at Vijaypur in Samba District, and it was presided over by the Provincial President.
In Poonch district headquarters, a function to celebrate the foundation day of the party was organized under the leadership of District President, Ex-MLA, Shah Mohammed Tantry, Provincial Vice President Jammu, Ex-MLA Faqir Nath organized the program at Gho Manhasan (Marh Constituency in Jammu District), and District President Jammu Rural-A, Pushap Dev Uppal organized the program at Akhnoor office of the Party.

Pura, the Provincial Vice President Women Wing, Neelam Gupta organized the program at Gandhi Nagar (Bahu Constituency); and Rupali Devi organized the program at Kot-Jagir in Nagrota to commemorate the foundation day of the Party.
