Srinagar, Feb 09: In an effort to promote and develop the Indian martial art Ashtedu, a group of 5 members trainers from Ashtedu Akhada Association of Jammu & Kashmir attended the National Masters Training Camp at Bhandara Maharashtra.
The masters training camp was organized by Maharashtra Ashtedu Mardani Akhada Association under the auspices of Ashtedu Akhada Federation of Bharat, which is the national governing body for the promotion and development of Ashtedu Martial Art in India.
Raj Kumar, Adil Hussain, Shahid Hilal, Naveed Mukhtar, Umaan Rafiq participated in this national Masters training camp.
Rajesh Talmale, General Secretary National Ashtedu Mardani Akhada Federation Bharat praised Kashmir members for participating in National Masters training camp.
On the concluding day of masters training camp, the Annual general meeting was held in which Raj Kumar General secretary of Ashtedu Akhada Association of Jammu & Kashmir was elected as senior vice president in the national body.
Adil Hussain said that Ashtedu Akhada Association of Jammu & Kashmir is going to organize a state championship on 17th and 18th February 2024 at Jammu as well as selection trials for Asmita Women’s League which will be held in New Delhi.
