Srinagar, Nov 21: Bharatiya Janata Party general secretary (Org) Ashok Koul along with a delegation of the party Kargil-Ladakh unit visited Jamia Masjid Hanafia Drass in Kargil, which was gutted in a massive conflagration.
Kould and the delegation led by State President Phunchok Stanzin, Nominated Councillor and Executive Members expressed deep sorrow and sympathy with the committee of the oldest Hanafia Masjid Drass and the people of Drass sub-division.
The delegation assured the Masjid committee of all possible support from the party. They also assured that a fire station will be set up in the sub-division.
