Srinagar, Nov 24: Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Org) of Bharatiya Janata Party for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, on Friday extended condolence to the bereaved families of two prominent party members – Organisation Secretary, Mudasir Wani, who lost his father, and G M Sofi, District President Baramulla, who lost his uncle.
To express solidarity, Ashok Koul personally visited the residence of G M Sofi in Kreeri, Baramulla, and paid his respects to the grieving family of Mudasir Wani in Chogal, Handwara.
“This gesture not only underscores the BJP’s commitment to its members during times of sorrow but also emphasizes the strong bond that exists within the party’s leadership,” the party said in a statement.
“The loss of loved ones is deeply felt, and the Bharatiya Janata Party J&K, under the leadership of Ashok Koul, stands united in offering solace and strength to those affected during these challenging times,” the statement added.
