Aryans ‘Kashmir YouTube Festival’ begins; scholarship helpline launched

Srinagar, June 09: Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh on Friday honoured around 80 creators of Kashmir in an event ‘Kashmir YouTube Festival’ here. The event is being held in association with Fashion Fiesta, HK Hyundai and is organised by Aadam’s Apple. The highlights of this two-day fest are exhibitions, stalls, entertainment, fan meet-ups, a red carpet walk, etc. 
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges & Guest of Honour, Dr Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group. The event witnessed hundreds of gathering of more than 80 creators performed on a single platform. 
Dr Anshu Kataria while addressing the gathering said that Aryans always organises and participates in such events. Last year also, Aryans organised “Stars of Kashmir” where around 50 artists were honoured, he said, adding that Aryans is the first choice of J&K students outside Kashmir to pursue higher education. 
“We have a majority of students from J&K who are not only academically strong but they are making the valley proud by doing Innovations too. Various Kashmiri artists have been performing at Aryans Campus, Chandigarh for the last many years and have enthralled the students of J&K, Punjab, Himachal, Haryana, UP, North East, Bihar, etc,” he said. 
Raja Aadam, CEO, Aadam Apple and organiser of the event, said he and his team has worked hard for this mega event and such kinds of events are always a treat for their fan followers across the country. He expressed his gratitude to the Aryans Group of colleges. 
Dr Parveen Kataria said that in Aryans Scholarship Mela, the shortlisted students would get 10 to 100 percent scholarship on merit-cum-mean basis in different courses including Engineering, Law, Management, Nursing, Paramedical, Pharmacy, B. Ed, BBA, BCA. The students will be given scholarship letters during the felicitation ceremony. On the occasion, a Aryans scholarship helpline 98781-08888 was also launched.
In the event, various stars from Jammu & Kashmir including Idrees Mir, Ishfaq Kawa, Uzma Shafi, Umar Nazir, Kashmiri Kalkharabs, Waqar Khan, Kashmir Food Fusion, Tral Comedy, Emminer, Raja Aadam, Bandook, Sethi Express, Yawar Wani, Rap Kid Arfat, Waris Wani Little Hero of Kashmir, Mariya Reshi, Mateena Rajput, MC Musaib, Moose TV, Saqib, Mir Parvaiz, Urfana Muneer, Aqib Padman, Barkat Kaur Rattan, Peerzada Aqib, Rapper Ashu, Jallad, Chef Hussain, Asif, Aafreen Tariq Khan, Jan Mohd Malla, Muzamil Malik, Maureen Shahmiri, Muneer Speaks, Mudasir Malik, Popping Sam, MJ Nasir, Shafia Shafi, Kral Koor, Tech Retro, Kashmiri Comedy Kings, Jan Mohd Azlla, Hubza, Explore Kashmir, Adil Teli, Ulfat Rafiq, etc are participating and would be honoured during felicitation ceremony on Saturday.
Established in 2007, Aryans campus is located on Chandigarh–Patiala highway, near Chandigarh and has lush green 20 acres pollution-free campus and has become the destination for JK students. Aryans Group has been serving the educational and intellectual interests of the youth in a commendable manner. The Group is running Engineering College, Law College, Pharmacy College, Management College, Business School, Education College, Agriculture College, and Nursing College.
