ARTO Poonch to conduct assessment of Mughal Road’s existing load, feasibility, potential

Srinagar, Sep 30: In order to conduct the assessment of existing traffic load, feasibility, and potential for carrying further Traffic load on Mughal Road, Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday ordered Basharat Mehmood, ARTO Poonch to visit the stretch and submit a report within two days.
In an order issued by the Regional Transport Officer Transport Nagar, Jammu which ordered Basharat Mehmood, ARTO Poonch to visit the entire stretch of Mughal Road and conduct an assessment of existing Traffic load and feasibility and potential for carrying further Traffic load, especially Goods Carriers (Trucks) on the said road on both the sides and furnish a report within two (02) days.
“It is hereby ordered that Shri Basharat Mehmood, ARTO Poonch shall visit the entire stretch of Mughal Road and conduct an assessment of existing Traffic load and feasibility and potential for carrying further Traffic load especially Goods Carriers (Trucks) on the said road on both the sides and furnish a report within two (02) days with full details about the existing Traffic load viz. number of the vehicles (Trucks, Buses, Light Motor Vehicles/Taxies) plying on this road timing and frequency of movement of vehicles from both the sides and capacity to carry further load keeping in view the condition of the road and other allied factors”, read the order.
