Army Public School Rakhmuthi celebrates investiture ceremony

Jammu, Apr 29: Army Public School Rakhmuthi celebrated its most auspicious ceremonial occasion, the Investiture Ceremony, with full enthusiasm in the school Auditorium. The event was graced by the honorable chief guest Chairman APS Rakhmuthi, who bestowed the symbols of authority to the office bearers of the students’ council.

 

The ceremony began with the lighting of the traditional lamp as a tribute to mother Saraswati, followed by a group song and dance performance that enthralled the audience. The day saw a flurry of hectic preparations for the event, and the Investiture Ceremony was solemnized with the chief guest conferring the authority and adorning the symbols to the office bearers of students’ council.

 

The school’s Head Girl Sonakshi Sharma of class 12, Head Boy Akshit Sharma of class 12, along with the ViceHead Girl, Vice Head Boy, Captains of all the four houses – Patel, Gandhi, Ambedkar and Nehru – took the oath to choose the harder right instead of the easier wrong. They also pledged to abide by the rules and regulations of their alma mater.

 

The function culminated with prize distribution to the academic toppers by the eminent chief guest. The chief guest eloquently addressed the gathering with his views of futuristic vision and conveyed the necessity of co-curricular activities along with academic learning. He also reminded the students of the role of leaders and their sanctimonious duties towards the school and inspired them to become the role models for their peers and juniors and live up to their expectations.

 

The Investiture Ceremony is an essential event for the Army Public School Rakhmuthi, as it marks the beginning of a new academic year and the appointment of new student leaders. The day culminated in a beautiful resonance with the National Anthem, lingering in everybody’s mind.

 

The Principal of the school, Ms. Shaswati Ghosh, welcomed the chief guest and presented the vote of thanks. The Investiture Ceremony was a grand success, and the school community looks forward to another year of excellence and growth.
