Apni Party Udhampur thanks Bukhari for road blacktopping

Udhampur, June 02: Apni Party District Unit Udhampur on Friday complimented the party president Altaf Bukhari for taking up a serious public issue, saying the road construction and blacktopping work from Kainth Gali to Moungri has started with his personal intervention.
Addressing a press conference at Udhampur, Apni Party district president Hans Raj Dogra said the huge population in Moungri was without proper road connectivity and the previous political representatives failed to do any kind of development in all these years.
“The elected representatives failed to do any kind of developmental work in the rural areas of Udhampur. However, it was after Bukhari sahib visited Mongari to address a public rally when our party president personally reviewed the situation and accordingly took up the issue of road construction/blacktopping from Kainth Gali to Moungri in district Udhampur with the government,” he said.
He said it was after the initiative of Bukhari that the road construction was started that would benefit a huge population that remained deprived of road connection. The road was in bad shape and it required proper conduction but the authorities were not taking any action on the demand of the people, he said, adding that the Apni Party District Committee thanks Altaf Bukhari on behalf of the people of Udhampur.
